Droitwich Spa Ladies 2s travelled to Bromsgrove looking to build on the excellent form that the new look side showed in their previous outing during the Harborne defeat.

This match Droitwich Spa Ladies saw the strength in depth of the junior section as Caitlin Denby made her senior debut. During the first half Denby confidence grew as she grew into role, but ‘grove showed their ruthless streak as they raced into a 3-0 interval lead.

For the remainder of the tie Spa showed their tenacity as despite playing with an injured player they only conceded a further two goals. Caitlin was voted player of the match because of her mature performance.
