This encounter saw both sides play out an entertaining first half but neiher side was able to forge ahead. Spa had the greater possesion but were not able to fashion any chances any notable chances in the first half whilst Stourport relied on their pace outwide but could not find the cutting edge

Gabriella Prendiville had a chance in the second half as her swept effort headed for the bottom right hand corner but was saved by 'port right kicker.
At this point Stourport kept their rolling subs going and from one attack down the right, a cross found their forward in the cirlce whose composed finish found the bottom corner of Kayleigh Thomas goal
Lucy Hine was next to have a chance as she weaved her way into the cirlce as defenders tried to tackle her but she found some space for a reverse stick shot which pinged off the far stick with the keeper beaten but the ball rebounded to safety

As the clock wound down in the second half Centre Back Sue Williams came forward and powered the ball into the circle which deflected high off a defenders stick and Hannah Lee was unlucky not put the falling past the on rushing keeper

The game ended in an unfortuant 1-0 defeat but the side will look to avenge this defeat as they take on Old Halesonians in the league
