Droitwich mens 3rd's travelled to play Redditch 4th team this week looking to bounce back to winning ways after last weeks loss to Bromsgrove 6's and they didn't have long to wait with Jeremy Porter working a move from the training ground to shoot in at the far post for his first goal for the team. Droitwich continued to push and again were further rewarded when Joey Skeats was able to score his second goal of the season and soon then doubled his tally for the day when a shot from Nick Carter hit the post and fell kindly for Joey to extend the lead for Droitwich. Pete Gurr also got in the action before Redditch pulled one back before the half time break.
After the break Nick Carter managed to get in on the action with a deft touch lifting the ball past the Redditch keeper and then doubled his tally for the day with a quick second. Despite the lead, Redditch weren't done and scored their second of the game. Droitwich won a penalty corner late in the game which resulted in a penalty flick award for a foot on the line which Graham Purcell stepped up to convert just before the final whistle to give the visitors a convincing win.

This weeks man of the match with his first goal for the club was Jeremy Porter.
