Droitwich 3's friendly with Worcester 6's

Droitwich 3's played another post lockdown friendly with local opposition Worcester 6's. Game started very evenly with each team defending well to stop any likely shots on target. Pete Gurr coming closet for Droitwich, but shooting wide of the goal. Pressure from Droitwich did then pay off Ben Wood intercepted a Worcester clearance and the Graham Purcell got around the back drawing in the defenders and slipping the ball back across the face of the goal for Steve Smith to slot home his first goal for the team. Droitwich's second came in very similar circumstances, this time Pete Gurr providing the cross for Jeremy Porter to slot home. Worcester weren't without their attacks and came close just minutes after with the same attacking format, but this time the attacker couldn't quite get the finish.
Second half saw Worcester rally, but hey couldn't find a break through, with both Adam Such and Leon Walters making critical interceptions on Penalty corners.
