Droitwich 3rd team entertained Worcester 5's for a friendly fixture before the league starts next week. Droitwich started well and should have scored with a double shot from Kevin Mountfield saved by the keeper then a on the line clearance from a Worcester player. Droitwich took the lead through a goal from Pete Gurr, Worcester hit back hard with repative attack, only kept out by some great saves by Droitwich keeper Tony Phillips. Second half saw the visitors score a deserved goal after again a more repeated attack. Droitwich then regaining the lead with an individual goal from Simon Blackmore. Droitwich player Nick Carter then came close with a shot just wide and then one over the cross bar before Luke Andrews gave Droitwich a clear advantage. Worcester did not concede and continued to push for goals with further chances kept out by MOTM keeper Tony Phillips.
