Droitwich were composed in the opening exchanges playing the ball around the back and using the width to create the chances with Joe Neal providing an early opportunity providing a pull back which Leomintser scrambled to clear. Leominster were reliant on sitting deep and pouncing on the counter which was how they opened the scoring.

Leominster cleared their lines and the ball was picked up in the middle of the park, and drove at the heart of the defence pulling Alisdair Littlejohn wide, and Matthew Mason provided the cover for Keeper for George Robertshaw who should have stopped the ball crossing the line.

Spa continued to press as did Ludlow, and the remainder of the half was very even

After half time, Steve Far and Paul Woodward controlled the midfield and could not put the finishing touches to Penalty Corner or the good appropach play

Ludlow after a series of Penalty Corners converted one with a drilled low show in the bottom corner
