Droitwich entertaining 2-2 with Bromsgrove in Summer League

Droitwich Spa hockey Club busy summer of Hockey continued as Droitwich Spa Ladies opened their Summer League Campaign with a creditable 2-2 draw against a Bromsgrove side at Stourport Hockey Club
Droitwich Spa Hockey Club opened up the socring with Jenny Hewlett socring Spa first summer league with a composed finish. Droitwich continued to press forward but could not extend their lead. Brosmgrove tried to play the ball around but their passing in the attacking third always went astray. As the 1st half drew to a close Bromsgrove scored a well taken goal

Second half followed the same vein with Droitwich playing the ball around in a composed manner and from one such move Garbiella Prendiville was through and the keeper saved her shot. Bromsgrove upped the temmpo, and went ahead with a fabulous goal. Droitwich were not done, as Spa Lucy Hine scampered away and finished with a shot which arrowed in to the corner of the goal
