We have several youngsters at this starting point for the England Hockey Player Pathway, they could follow in the footsteps to the Futures Cup.

Please see below information just received from Worcestershire HA about this years Development Centre.
This is the starting point for the England Hockey Player Pathway (http://www.englandhockey.co.uk/page.asp?section=2132&sectionTitle=The+Player+Pathway).

The Player Pathway - England Hockey
www.englandhockey.co.uk
The Player Pathway provides an environment that helps all junior players realise their potential, whether that means they are the best club player they can be, seek a lifelong commitment to the game through coaching or volunteering or perhaps go on to represent England or Great Britain at junior or senior level.

It provides a route to representing the County, the region and potentially International honours.
It is open to all and involves initially a number of informal Friday training sessions followed by an Assessment to move on to the Academy.

To illustrate the opportunity Matt Whiteside, who many of you know from Droitwich Badgers, progressed from the Development Centre last season to the Academy and into the Futures Cup. He is now in the England U16 Squad for this season. Congratulations Matt - an inspiration for all.

If you are interested in developing your hockey further then please give this some consideration. If you need any more information or advice then contact me at training or directly (Tel: 07847 323226, email: simon.blackmore55@gmail.com).
Regards
Simon
