Despite three away goals Spa were undone by the ruthless cubs attackers

Spa went into this encounter looking to have a 5 wins from 10 games which would represent a good summer league campaign and a comfortable mid table position
Spa went into this fixture with excitement after their 2-1 win over the Wildcats the previous week. Spa started slowly as Barford moved Spa defence around with ease and opened the scoring with two quick fire goals. After Spa grew into the game, with Matthew Lee scuffing an effort wide after being through one on one; Sam Radford making his debut in the seniors was through midway through the half and his pushed effort sailed narrowly wide of the far upright with the keeper beaten. Lee Wakelam was also thwarted by a kicker save in the first as Spa struggled to break the deadlock. But soon after Spa pressure told with Lee Waklam breaking the deadlock with a swift finish

Soon after Barford started to try and impose themselves on the game drawing fouls from the Droitwich players, and Andy Rollason was given a green card for his retalotry strike toward their player

Soon after the half time turnaround, Droitwich saw the best of Andy Rollason who fired from an acute angle into the roof of the net giving the home keeper no chance, at 2-2 Spa kept pouring forward with Matthew Lee giving Spa the 3-2 lead. Barford however came storming back with three quick goals, giving them a deserved victory for their clinical finishing
