Spa Ladies off to winning start against Worcester

Droitwich Summer League started off with a 3-1 success over near neighbours Worcester. Spa goals came from Lucy Hine and a Hannah Robson brace

Spa Ladies looked to put their poor winter league form behind them as they opened up their Summer League Campaign against Worcester.

Spa opened the scoring as Hannah Robson, returned to the fold, defeated the Worcester keeper by rounding her expertly before finishing with precision. Spa doubled their lead shortly after Hannah Robson beat the Worcester keeper in another one on one situation and finishing securely. Hannah Robson played a pivatol role in the third goal as she supplied the cross for Lucy Hine to snaffled a third goal putting Droitwich completely in control. As you would expect being 3-0 down Worcester began to push forward more and more and got a consolation in the last few minutes of a game. This left the final score 3-1.

This was a good performance and confidence boost for the women to take forward for the rest of this Summer League Campaign.
