Rules
1. The squad must consists of 12 players – 1 Goalkeeper, 4 Defenders, 4 Midfielder, 2 Forwards and 1 Sub (the sub can be a player in any position.
2. The squad cannot have more than 2 players from the same squad in it at any time, and must always have at least 4 men or women in it (i.e. you cannot have a full squad of men/ women)
3. There are six squads – Mens 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s and ladies 1s, 2s. These are roughly based on last season’s squads. There will be two new squads created part way during the season (one mens, one ladies) which will be made up of new players
4. Each squad must have a nominated captain who will score double points (both positive and negative). The captain can be changed at any point during the season
5. The sub will only score ½ points (both positive and negative)
6. You can change your team as often as you want up to the 30/09/11. After this you are only allowed three transfers throughout the season, and these can only take place during designated transfer windows. The transfer windows are – 02/10/11 – 07/10/11 and 27/11/11 – 2/12/11 and 29/01/12 – 03/02/12
7. Points are scored as follows – Playing a game = 1 pt (all players) Scoring a goal = 5 pts (all players) Hattrick = 10 extra points (on top of pts for goals) Clean sheet = 5pts (Goalkeepers and Defenders) Penalty save = 10pts (Goalkeepers or outfield players in goal)
Player of the match = 10pts
8. Points can be lost as follows – Green Card = -2pts Yellow Card = -5pts Red Card = -20pts Conceding more than 3 goals = -2pts (Goalkeepers and defenders)
9. The points system will stand even if a player plays out of position (i.e. if a defender or Goalkeeper plays in midfield or attack they will still gain points for a clean sheet, or lose them for conceding more than 3 goals)
